We started The Bald Gent with one aim: to be the voice for all men who are going through, or have gone through, the process of balding.
TBG is here to be the big brother, the voice of support, reason and advice – not just on helping men through hair loss, but on how to embrace their new look, and come out the other side with style, class and most importantly, confidence.
And now we’re here to introduce to you the next step of that journey:
We’ve launched a new show made for, and by, remarkable bald people to discuss the journey to baldness, and all the issues and challenges associated with losing your hair.
Above all else, we want all of our TBG members to be living life to the fullest, not just accepting your look – but celebrating it, rocking your style and in the process, becoming a true gentleman. We hope that Razor’s Edge will help you do just that.
In each episode of Razor’s Edge, host and TBG founders, Paul Inman & Joel Turner will meet with an inspiring new guest to hear their stories of balding and being bald.
Our guests will tell us all about how balding has influenced their lives, if hair loss had an impact on their outlook and mental health, and how they ultimately came to embrace their baldness. They’ll also talk about their experiences – both personally and professionally – and how these may have been shaped by not having hair.
Since starting The Bald Gent, we’ve come across so many remarkable people, heard an endless amount of inspiring stories, and we know there are even more stories out there just waiting to be told. And we want to share as many of them as we can.
Everyone’s journey is different, but we’ve lived it – we know that the process of balding (and all the worry involved) is so much worse than actually being bald. And we want to celebrate and share that journey into acceptance and confidence from as many different perspectives as possible.
Razor’s Edge Episode 1: Paul’s Story
The first episodes of Razor’s Edge are out now, and to kick things off, TBG’s Paul talked openly and honestly about his own hair loss journey.
Faced with hair loss at a young age (he was 17 at the time), Paul tells us about how he looked for support from family and friends to deal with one of the most significant psychological traumas a teenage boy can face.
He describes how he went through several stages – including trying a non-surgical cosmetic hair loss system – before reaching a level of acceptance and moving on to live a confident and happy life.
To hear all about Paul’s story, watch the first episode of Razor’s Edge now.
At the end of the day, there’s simply nothing wrong with losing your hair – nearly 40% of all men on Earth will experience baldness. Every man deserves to feel stylish and confident, so we hope that through the stories we tell on Razor’s Edge we can help you gain some of that confidence back, and live life as a Gent.
